The Divine Within Podcast has entered its second month of programming and is coming out strong with 100 subscribers on YouTube and many views on our streaming portals. Great numbers for a new podcast!
This initial phase in the podcast world is all about volume. The strategy is to publish as much content as possible; the long and short version of the podcast, the YouTube shorts, TikTok posts and Instagram and Facebook publications. That way when a person comes across our content they can follow up with more, and more, and more… and create a liking that makes them subscribe and follow. This is done by an organic strategy, which basically means that there is no money involved to promote or create publicity. The views, shares, likes, comments and other interactions are natural and “organic” from what we’ve shared in our groups and our peers.
Below are the results from the first month of programming… and the conclusions are these:
These insights give us a lot of information for the future of the podcast. It lets us know what topics have had more interest, and therefore what to produce in the future. We’ve also shortened the episodes and are giving much more focus on the shorts which are catching A LOT of attention.
So far the podcast has created a positive impact outside of The Urantia Book Community. We’ve been able to present concepts such as personal religion, the individual’s relationship with God, the difference between evolved and revealed religion etc. These along with 'The Divine Within' are some of the concepts that have attracted people to regularly engage with our podcast. We incorporate general or popular knowledge topics such as Star Wars, and use insights from The Urantia Book. This, along with a personal story, that transformed them and helped them realize they had “The Divine Within.”
Interestingly we fall in a category called “Lifestyle” because we are not promoting or pushing any religion and I am not a pastor, preacher or guru. We offer a great variety of information from different perspectives and many different types of people. So the audience picks and chooses their favorite topics and they can dive deeper. The demographics show that both Generation X and Millennials are the main audience. This helps us tailor our content and communication as well, and it also helps us develop a communication strategy that takes it to the next level.

We are now about to finish the initial phase of the podcast, and now are moving to the second phase which is promoting. We will continue with the organic growth throughout August but will begin to promote in September. This will grow our interactions exponentially, and we will be able to reach many more people with our podcast.
We are going to present a strategy for the second phase of the podcast in the coming weeks. It will include the creative strategy we will be implementing, as well as production costs and potential revenue streams. We have to take into consideration that a model such as this one has monthly costs, but they can be covered by the proper monetization strategy.
