"The wisdom of the world is not necessary to an exercise of saving faith in eternal realities." 102:8.2 (1127.6)
In a world obsessed with credentials, data, and intellectual prestige, it’s easy to believe that spiritual truth must also be earned through study or worldly wisdom. But eternal reality doesn’t work like that. The door of faith opens not with brilliance, but with openness. Not with a resume, but with a response.
Faith is not about having the right arguments—it’s about saying yes to a divine relationship. It’s not ignorance, but humble trust. You don’t need to master theology or philosophy to be seen, known, or saved. In fact, sometimes the most childlike hearts perceive truth more clearly than the most trained minds. Why? Because they’re willing to believe before everything is proven.
The miracle of spiritual life is this: heaven responds to faith, not degrees.
